How to Choose Oral Hygiene and Preventive Care Products

• Prophy paste grit: Mark3 prophy paste runs from fine through medium and coarse to extra coarse, in single flavors or assorted boxes of 200. Use coarse grits for heavy stain and finish with a finer paste.
• Prophy angles: Mark3 disposable angles come in soft or firm cups at 90 degrees, and ContraCare angles are 105 degrees.
• Fluoride delivery: choose 5% sodium fluoride varnish with TCP from Mark3 Enamel Care or Premier Enamel Pro, APF thixotropic gel with fluoride trays, or a neutral fluoride rinse.
